Did you know that the AMA passed a resolution prohibiting the paging of residents for practice opportunities? The AMA believes that residencies lose too much profit by those interruptions. That resolution, more than doubles the degree of difficulty to reach highly qualified candidates. Just thought you would like to know.

. Did you know that many large practices in great locations look for their own doctor and use a recruiter too? Why do they do that? They shouldn’t have any problems getting good doctors. Right? Well, they understand the more candidates they consider, the higher their odds will be that they will hire a great doctor that year, not have to wait another year, the new doctor will be a better match, and their retention rate will be much higher.

Although a recruiter is expensive he/she is also a bargain. Considering more and better candidates allows you to secure the best match. Hiring the best doctor this year avoids the cost and lost time of recruiting again next year, generates a new doctor profit this year than waiting to another year, and you will not have to wait for a better call. Waiting another year also means you may not hire a new doctor then either!

Most large practices use us because their competition use recruiters. You cannot be as successful, self-recruiting part time or when you get around to it, when your competition has a full time professional recruiter working for them. The biggest reason most groups use us is that they would rather be doing something else such as seeing more patients, doing more surgeries, earning more money, playing more golf, boating, or spending more time with their families.

Some say they cannot afford a recruiter. I have always wondered, if they cannot afford a recruiter how can they afford a new doctor? They seem to afford their lawyers, accountants, medical business consultants and other professional.
